Terms and Conditions

Agreement
These terms apply to the Utarlo app and the website utarlo.rhinepereira.in, provided by Rhine Pereira, Mumbai, India. By installing or using Utarlo you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
What Utarlo is
Utarlo is a free travel aid that uses your phone’s GPS to alert you as you approach a station you select. It is an assistive tool, not a guarantee. Alerts depend on your phone, its GPS signal, battery, operating system settings, volume, and permissions, none of which we control.
Your responsibility
- You remain responsible for your own journey, safety, belongings and getting off at the right station.
- Test the alarm before relying on it, keep your phone charged, and keep required permissions enabled.
- Follow railway rules and staff instructions at all times. Never board or alight from a moving train.
No affiliation
Utarlo is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Indian Railways, Western Railway, Central Railway, or any government body. Station names and locations are provided for convenience and may contain errors.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not resell it, misuse it, or attempt to interfere with its operation.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, Utarlo, including missed stations, delays, extra fares or travel costs.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms; the date above shows the latest version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
